Orphan Mary Lennox is an earthquake in India and sent to England to live with her uncle in a cold page of ancestors in Yorkshire. Mary briefly met him, still mourning for his wife who died ten years ago, but she is mostly left on their own. A girl resourceful and inquisitive, she quickly made two interesting findings.
