This film follows the life and times of the main character, an android who is purchased as a household robot programmed to perform menial tasks. Within a few days Martin family realizes that they do not have an ordinary droid as Andrew begins to experience emotions and creative thinking. In the story that spans two centuries, Andrew's complex humanity while trying to stop these people made me kill him.
