In 14th century England, a young monk breaks his vow of chastity and flees the wrath of his fellow bishops and monks. Fugitive priest, he witnessed the murder of a traveling actor – and then, the actress mourning by one of his fellow troupe members. He eventually become the troupe began as a player, rather than human beings were murdered. They play from town to town to do their moral standard travel. They arrive in town where a boy was killed and a young deaf mute girl has been in prison for the crime – sentenced to death for murder and magic.
