Young priest speaks against its communist regime in Poland and is killed for it.
Every so often, you can see an average film and film downloads reminder of what could only have been little changed. This is one of them; it features several great actors – Ed Harris, Tim Roth, Pete Postlethwaite, spell Ackland (sorry for misspellings!) – But 1 unforgivably bad casting decision: Casting fully charisma – Christopher Lambert as deprived of its pastor believes film at all, is pastor to the people as dangerously attractive, charismatic leader is seen. Lambert can not portray. One of the worst actors around, and killed him this picture is dead.
Two other big gripes about the movie: The scene in which a priest by Bishop speech and then sent to Rome – or rather, because he never actually goes there. What was where? Shows that the Polish Church in cahoots – or at least housing practice – with the government? All right. But at least, send him to Rome. Otherwise you are a useless scene that detracts from the film.
