Two parallel stories about man committing moral crimes against God intersect in this commentary on evil.
Virtually impossible to follow, the camera work is horrible, the director has no concept of pacing, and Michael Madsen looked as lost as the audience. The punk music soundtrack was all right, but pushed at too high a volume level. The concept of the plot is intriguing, but everyone missed the mark in bringing it to film. The morality aspects of the film were disjointed and difficult to follow. Attempting to be “hard-core” with the killer of the young men the director missed the mark with a total lack of blood spatter except on the killer. The apartment was pristine (probably borrowed from a buddy) with no blood on carpet, furniture or walls. If you’re going to show a brutal murder you should be prepared to SHOW the results of a brutal murder.
